Where the love of coffee runs in the family

Omar Sagastume, founder of Cafe Mayan, is no stranger to the world of coffee.  As a child growing up in Guatemala, his grandfather taught him all about the family business of growing coffee beans.  He taught Omar the importance of selecting the highest quality beans and heating them to optimal temperature in order to extract the beans' highest quality of flavor.  His family's coffee bean business has been passed through generations. 

Now, Omar has decided to bring his family's tradition of coffee to you!  He has imported authentic Guatemalan coffee beans from his family's farm and brought them to the Cafe Mayan where they are ground and brewed fresh daily to bring you the finest gourmet coffee beverages in the area. 

Blended with a variety of local flavors, this is more than just a "cup of Joe”, it is an authentic Guatemalan coffee experience.  Enhanced by the warmth of the crackling fireplace and a lounge with wireless internet access, Cafe Mayan is the perfect place to come in for a quick cup of coffee on the go or to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.  Omar invites you to stop in and taste the difference a Mayan Cafe coffee can make.
